A few months ago, I took the plunge and finally signed up for Tailwind, a scheduler for Pinterest. After joining several group boards, it had become tedious and confusing to manually pin my posts every day, so Tailwind is a real time saver! It makes it super easy to schedule your posts in advance.

Tailwind Tribes: What they are and how to use them

At some point, I’ll probably cover social media schedulers in greater detail, but today I wanted to talk about Tailwind Tribes. Now, from my understanding, you DO NOT have to be a Tailwind member to use Tailwind Tribes.

In layman’s terms, Tribes work sort of like Pinterest group boards: Content creators with a common interest join Tribes and then share each other’s content. I spent a few minutes the other day exploring the Chronic Illness Bloggers’ Tribe, and wow, have I been missing out! There was so much great content corralled into one place, which made it super easy to share to my Pinterest boards. If you haven’t checked out the CIB Tribe, put that on your to-do list now. Here’s an invite to join!

And, as always, I’m sharing some links for those who aren’t familiar with Tailwind Tribes yet.

Right now, there doesn’t seem to be a good way to find Tribes to join, but Tailwind is supposedly working on that. I’ll try to keep you guys updated when they launch a search feature!
