Having spent most of my working life in middle management for large companies whilst bringing up 3 children, I successfully fought Thyroid cancer in 1996 but in 2012 again began to feel unwell. So unwell that I had to move from full time to part time work the year later.

After 2 years of many tests & many diagnoses – I was told I had Fibromyalgia which is a progressive invisible illness, along a host of other related problems which limit my abilities on most days.

I am a fighter & as stubborn as a mule – I dont “pace” myself – as all the current medical clan seem to believe Fibro sufferers should… as I really believe I need to still be as productive & useful as possible so I live by the Fly high & Crash & burn method… Its Painful & probably shortening this pitiful life BUT I am still contributing (all be it differently to how I was)..

Now I am helping people in a different way & it brings me peace on days when I could scream in pain…

Remember – No matter how bad it gets.. You could be dead!
